Who we are

About The Donut Run

Three shops in Utah, making donuts and kolaches by hand, every morning, starting long before the doors open.

The work starts in the dark. That is not a slogan — it is just what it takes to have fresh trays out at five, which is when the first people come in. Shift workers, drivers, crews heading out, parents on the school run, and on the St. George end, a steady stream of people trying to be standing in Zion when the sun comes up.

We make things the traditional way and we keep the list short enough to do it properly. Donuts, kolaches, good coffee. That is most of it.

The kolache thing

Very few donut shops in Utah make kolaches. We do, from the start, and they have quietly become the reason a lot of people drive past somewhere closer to get here.
